ABOUT US
Milagris High School was founded in 1934. It was known as St. Philomena English School and was inaugurated by his Highness Khem Sawant Bhosale, Rajesaheb of Sawantwadi. It was only in 1961 the name changed to Milagris High School.
Milagris High School is an English and Marathi medium school for Boys and Girls. It is a Christian minority school which aims at giving an all round Education: Academic, Physical, Moral and spiritual; Primarily to Catholics, for whose education the institution has been established and also to other children irrespective of religion and race, in so far as in consonant with Catholic principles.
Milagris High School is owned and Managed by the Poona Diocesan Educational Society, Poona, with His Lordship, the Bishop of Pune as its Chairman.
It is recognized by the government of Maharashtra and prepares pupils Primarily, for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination of the state of Maharashtra.
